Are you up for a little tour around the pool? Since opening the spring season 2023 the Carinthian hotel inspires with two new bathing highlights. 

In addition to the new outdoor infinity pool, guests at the Hotel & Spa Sonne in Carinthia can also enjoy a wonderfully relaxing outdoor whirlpool. Here you can float in pleasantly warm temperatures and let your thoughts run free. With the lake always in front of you and the seemingly endless expanse of water, you can slowly relax completely. When the pool almost merges with the lake and you can lose yourself leisurely in the endlessness of the water... This is bathing pleasure of a special kind. Because suddenly everything becomes light. The pressure on your shoulders eases - and you can enjoy immersing yourself in the warmth and lightness of the element of water - and take in the vastness and the panoramic view!

The new outdoor pool is the perfect complement to the marvellous swimming and water fun in Lake Klopein, which is also just a few steps away from our beautiful sunbathing lawns. So the choice is yours: lake or pool? Ideally both!

The new pool is not only a highlight of modern technology and casual design with its elegant stainless steel look, but above all a real oasis of relaxation that invites you to unwind at a pleasant temperature of around 31 degrees. In this respect, the new pool offers the perfect alternative to swimming in the sea in spring and autumn or even on slightly cooler summer days. The warm pool temperatures are also a pleasant feel-good factor early in the morning or at the end of a wonderful day. If you want to start your bathing pleasure indoors, you can comfortably enter the pool in the indoor area of the extended wellness area and swim out into the pleasantly temperate water. Additional whirl jets await you in the indoor area of the new heated pool, providing a relaxing massage.

In the new, 34° warm outdoor whirlpool in the Klopeiner See Hotel with pool, the Sonne****, you can now enjoy pleasant strokes for body, mind and soul in the almost body-warm water with a panoramic view. With the expansion of our wellness area, the outdoor area has also been upgraded and the new outdoor whirlpool offers bubbling relaxation with many underwater massage jets. The motto here is: simply lean back, watch the bubbles rise leisurely and forget the stress of everyday life. Because all that matters is the here and now - and this unique ME time between the sky, the lake and relaxation!

Regeneration needs rest. And rest. And sometimes even silence. So that the one or other carousel of thoughts and inner hamster wheel stops spinning. But simply stop. Our new relaxation room is perfect for this. So if you want to rest after a relaxing swimming or whirlpool session, our relaxation room offers you an oasis of relaxation. Here you will find comfortable loungers, hanging chairs and cosy armchairs from which you can enjoy a wonderful view of the mountains and the lake.

Perhaps you fancy a refreshing drink, an ice cream or a small snack in between? Coffee and cake also await you in our new lakeside lounge, along with many other delicacies and refreshing drinks. Plus sparkling and semi-sparkling beverages from frizzante to cocktails. And the best thing about it? You always have the lake in view!

The delicacies and small snacks are available in the lakeside lounge from mid-July to the end of August. Outside of this season, our day bar is available for homemade cakes and tarts, as well as coffee or refreshing drinks.
